Bad Presentation

My favorite presentations from class were Nicole's, Sarah's and Paul's. I really liked how Nicole made her font symbols you she didn't even really know what she was reading. Sarah's was a good demonstration of what not to do because of the extremely bright colors and she covered everything. I thought Paul's was really funny because of the excess of pictures, animations, and sound clips he had going throughout the presentation.

Things that Make a Good PowerPoint:
  1. Put titles on your slides
  2. Use spell check
  3. Incorporate appropriate images and animations
  4. Make sure the font is readable and the background is easy on the eyes.

Things that Make a Bad PowerPoint:

  1. Excess of pictures, animations, and sounds.
  2. Illegible font coloring and too bright of a background.
  3. Not citing sources of information.
  4. Having too much text on one slide makes it boring.

Borrowing Pictures from the Internet

The best way to not get in trouble for plagirism is to always give credit to the site where you got the picture. There are some websites with free pictures like stock.xchange.com where you don't have to give credit. If you get the picture from any other type of website then its best to give credit to the publisher.
