Stumpers and Web Sites
My favorite web sites were Wayne's, Sarah's, and Gustavo's. I like how Wayne used the pictures on the home page to link to the other pages. Sarah's masthead was awesome and her collages fit well with her site. Gustavo picked a good color scheme for his web site and had good information.
The stumper picture's I liked the best where Holly's, Jaime's, and Natalie's. Natalie's picture and site are really cool. Jaime took a picture of something he likes to do so I like his pic. Holly's picture is by my dorm and it is kind of a tricky one to figure out where it is.

Bad Presentation
My favorite presentations from class were Nicole's, Sarah's and Paul's. I really liked how Nicole made her font symbols you she didn't even really know what she was reading. Sarah's was a good demonstration of what not to do because of the extremely bright colors and she covered everything. I thought Paul's was really funny because of the excess of pictures, animations, and sound clips he had going throughout the presentation.
Things that Make a Good PowerPoint:
Things that Make a Good PowerPoint:
- Put titles on your slides
- Use spell check
- Incorporate appropriate images and animations
- Make sure the font is readable and the background is easy on the eyes.
Things that Make a Bad PowerPoint:
- Excess of pictures, animations, and sounds.
- Illegible font coloring and too bright of a background.
- Not citing sources of information.
- Having too much text on one slide makes it boring.

Borrowing Pictures from the Internet
The best way to not get in trouble for plagirism is to always give credit to the site where you got the picture. There are some websites with free pictures like stock.xchange.com where you don't have to give credit. If you get the picture from any other type of website then its best to give credit to the publisher.

Web 2.0 and Time Person of the Year Article
I found it very interesting that Time Magazine would make the person of the year, anyone and everyone in the world. It is very true about all of the comments and videos made on YouTube. I also find the music innovations and the blog entries amazing.
Web 2.0 has made some changes that has allowed the internet to be more reliable and responses to emergencies be acted on more quickly. They are also making multiple language versions of the program and users will be able to view CAD and PDF files online on a web page. There is a combination of community, peer production, collective intelligence, and difficult to re-create data sources that distinguishes Web 2.0 sites from other online destinations.
